Company: Celerity One (which has since gone out of business)
Summary: This site was a collaboration with my brother Dave Harding. Split Second is an energy drink that increases focus, energy and hydration. Celerity One needed a creative site that would make their drink stand out in the sea of energy supplements. Split Second is unique in that it comes in a packet that is mixed with water.
We came up with the “Find the Split Second Packet” game idea based on the idea that Split Second increases your focus. You start with a blurry screen where things aren’t quite what they seem. As you find the Split Second packets, your focus improves until finally you can see the scene as it truly is. The site uses the computers clock to show an office scene during the day and a club scene at night.
I created the site using Adobe Flash. Dave created the back end for the client using ColdFusion and MySQL.
